Making Waves Academy-a charter middle and high school in Richmond-is on the lookout to hire a full-time student recruiter. The salary range for the position is $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
To qualify for the role, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related field, and at least one year of community outreach and recruiting experience. Bilingual English/Spanish speakers are highly desirable candidates.
According to the academy, the student recruiter will be responsible for outreach, community engagement and recruiting. The person filling this role will also spearhead an outreach strategy in a variety of communities in west Contra Costa County, primarily in and around Richmond, aimed at recruiting students and families for the school’s 5th grade lottery process.
In addition, the academy states that the student recruiter will also support student enrollment efforts by providing admission details to prospective families, creating informational materials and representing the school at community events.
